Children go through quite a few stages of growth on their way to adulthood and of course this involves quite a few changes to their feet. The bones in children’s feet are not fully developed until they reach around 16 years old, and as a result there are many problems related to growth that can occur. Severs Disease and Osgood Schlatters disease are two very common growth problems related to the heel and knee respectively. Flexible Flat feet are also very common in children due to ligament laxity and muscle tightness and /or weakness.

At Prostep Podiatry we have the experience, knowledge and diagnostic equipment to ensure the correct diagnosis and treatment of any problems your children may have with their feet, from the very slight to the most significant.
