Vascular problems affect many of us and one of the most affected parts of the body is the lower limbs and in particular the feet. The maintaining of a good blood supply to the feet is essential for good foot health.

Monitoring the flow of blood to and from the feet can help us diagnose Rest Pain and Intermittent Claudication both of which can be painful and alarming to the person suffering from them. We can all see when there are obvious circulation problems, like Varicose Veins, but by using Doppler Units we are able to carry out ABI (Ankle Brachial Index) studies to check the speed and relative blood flow compared to the arms, and detect the strength of pulses in the feet and ankles.
